The 553P Rosso hiking boots, made in Estonia by Samelin’s boot factory, are designed specifically for hiking in northern climates, but as Samelin says, they are “suitable for anyone who enjoys an active lifestyle”.
Samelin has been producing hiking boots for more than 20 years, and for many people Samelin is known as a manufacturer of quality hiking boots, not military footwear. The hiking boots are made of waterproof nubuck leather and are lined with a 4-layer TOPAZ sock-style membrane system for waterproofness and breathability. The boots have a Vibram dual-layer sole, suitable for both soft and hard surfaces. For those unfamiliar with Vibram, in the world of hiking shoe soles, it’s Porsche or Ferrari – whichever you prefer.
The bootstrap eyelets are made of non-magnetic metal and the lace hooks equalize the tension of the straps and allow them to be tied at different heights. The insole of the boots is shock-resistant, antibacterial, breathable and washable. The boots are protected by a rubber protector.
